The XTV-WT series is purpose built for renewable energy applications, specifically into wind-turbine applications where high cycling, extreme vibration, and harsh environmental conditions exist. XTV-WT batteries use an exclusive VRLA pure lead technology which increases charging efficiency, operation in high-vibration environment, and better cycle performance compared to general purpose batteries.
- Capacity range is from 12V 7.2 – 20Ah.
- Innovative plate structure with new separator, formulated lead-paste, electrolyte formula, and high-grate separator allows extreme temperature operation between -20 to 50C.
- Design life of up to 12 years in standby service.
- Designed to be operated in any orientation.
- Standard flame-retardant ABS case construction.
- UL recognized under UL 1989 (file number MH14533).
- Comply with IATA/ICAO Special Provision A67 for air transport, are classified per MG Amendment 27 as a non-hazardous material for water transport and recognized by DOT as “Dry charge” 49 CFR 171-189 for surface transport.
